I was gone this morning for a while and when I got back, there were two phone calls. My friend, Aurora called to tell me she was on her way over, and the Alzheimer's Assc. called to remind me of a meeting tonight at the Methodist Hospital. Mom took both calls and when I got home, my message went something like this: "Aurora called to remind you there is a program at the Methodist Church tonight."
Eventually, I figured it all out. She did good. :)

You amaze me everyday...I am so glad pur older sister sent us this link. so we can experience through you all that mom does and all that you and the big guy do for her. At first, while reading these, I felt sad and sorry for you. I also felt that i had let mom down for not doing more. I still fell like I should be with her more and i want to but it isnt possible at this time...that is not a cop out i mean it. I miss her so much every day and I just want to be around her and then when I am I realize I am not strong enough to do that. You are so wonderful with her and your love and care says so much about the person you are and have become. I am so proud to have you as my sister and to know that mom is in the greatest possible hands. I still want you to know that I am here for you if you need a break just call me and i will be there for a weekend so you and the big guy can get away...I love you and I am there for you and mom every step of the way.
